As a Londoner, Reese first became interested in fashion at the age of 14, browsing Tumblr for what he calls “very Gen Z” brands. He found out about a BAPE store in London back while he was just spending much time there. Cooper ended up getting an internship with their distribution office.
At 16, he learned an early production skill called pattern making. During the time, Reese met Charlie Giannetti, a designer friend, who at first hired him to model for his label. Charlie and Reese then moved to Los Angeles over a work-related trip.

His first womenswear collection called Big Sky was released this season, representing Cooper’s retelling of the big-city dreaming narrative.
Much of Cooper’s production is done in the Giannetti Factory, a pioneering garment manufacturer. In addition, his clothing brand is global in both what you can find at stores and where it’s made.
Now 23 years, Cooper’s line can be found in major retailers like Selfridges and SSENSE while his Against the Wind capsule drops at Barneys today – a prelude to his men’s collection.
